Meet Viplav Mulka, our IT Business Analyst at AYLA Solutions with a primary focus on delivering business analytics and automation. Viplav also happens to be one of the first employees of the company and has played a big part in some major projects over the span of 3 years.
What are your aspirations and goals within the organisation?
"My aspirations within the organization include advancing my expertise in business process optimization, automation solutions, and productivity enhancement. I aim to lead impactful projects that leverage emerging technologies to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. I also aspire to mentor and collaborate with my colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning. My goal is to contribute to the organization's growth by developing innovative solutions that boost productivity, optimize business processes, and improve workflows. Ultimately, I strive to become a key player in shaping the digital transformation journey of our clients."
Viplav successfully completed a controlled document management system migration project for CITIC Pacific Mining, transitioning from SharePoint 2007 and 2010 to SharePoint Online. This involved organizing, migrating, designing, automating processes using Power Automate, and structuring a new SharePoint environment to maintain consistency and simplify user experience. Currently, he is part of the CITIC Pacific Mining's - IM Services Team, working with SharePoint, Teams, and the O365 Suite Management and Administration. They are engaged in projects such as business process automation using Team forms and Power Automate, citizen development, and developing small to mid-level business productivity and workflow automation solutions.
Based on your experience so far, can you outline some accomplishments and tell us more about what you learned?
“Throughout my career, I’ve been involved in several impactful initiatives. Contributing to the migration of document management systems to SharePoint Online using ShareGate enhanced my skills in analysing business needs and developing automation solutions with Power Automate. I learned the importance of detailed planning, effective stakeholder support, and the value of documenting comprehensive training and procedures. Working with seasoned professionals at CITIC Pacific Mining provided deep insights into optimizing business processes and technology. In my current role at CITIC Pacific Mining, managing automation projects and enhancing productivity solutions has furthered my understanding of system administration and governance. These experiences have broadened my knowledge of process optimization, system integration, and the critical role of collaboration in achieving successful outcomes.”
What new projects would you like to delve into?
“I’m eager to explore projects that involve leveraging advanced automation platforms and integrating AI technologies. Specifically, I’m interested in delving into solutions that use machine learning for predictive analytics and data-driven decision-making. I would also like to work on projects focused on enhancing user experiences through custom SharePoint development and automating complex business workflows. Additionally, exploring opportunities to integrate OpenAI services for innovative business solutions and expanding my knowledge in CoPilot Studio and Azure OpenAI services are areas I’m excited to pursue.”
